August 19th , 2020Grilled Marinated Shrimp with Orzo PastaGrilled Marinated ShrimpServe over Orzo pasta with our 2018 Whitehall Lane Chardonnay!Marinade1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oilZest of 2 lemons4 garlic cloves minced¼ cup packed chopped fresh parsley1 teaspoon oregano1 tsp paprika½ tsp coriander½ tsp red pepper flakesReserve 3 TBS to drizzle over the Orzo pastaFor the Shrimp2 lb large shrimp peeled and deveinedKosher saltInstructionsCombine the marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Reserve 2 TBS of the marinade in a separate bowl for later.Pat the shrimp dry and season with kosher salt. Place the shrimp in a large bowl and pour the marinade all over. Toss to combine.Cover and refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes (do not go longer).Thread the shrimp on skewers, about 4 large shrimp per skewer. (If using bamboo skewers they need to be soaked in water for at least 30 minutes first).Grill shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until no longer translucent.Serve with prepared Orzo pasta and drizzle reserved marinade over the top.Pair with our 2018 Whitehall Lane Chardonnay and enjoy!
