WINEMAKER NOTESThe grapes were our last fruit harvested at Whitehall Lane on November 5, 2015 at a very high degree of ripeness to ensure concentrated fruit flavors and added sweetness. The juice was cool fermented and finished at 8% residual sugar resulting in a cornucopia fruit sensation in the aromas and flavors.
THE VINTAGEThis “beautiful Muscat” or Belmuscato is a stylish dessert wine made from 100% Orange Muscat grapes. The grapes were grown in two long vine rows in Whitehall Lane Winery’s Estate Vineyard in Rutherford. The long, warm summer days and cool nights in Napa Valley aids in the development and maturation process of the Orange Muscat grapes.
