When we say football what do you think of? You probably think of Buffalo wings, nachos and of course, beer. But what’s the wine lover to do this Super Sunday? Drink a brewski? Hard pass.

Despite popular belief, wine DOES fit in amongst your gridiron grub and we are here to help!

First off, the dips.

If you are making an Artichoke Spinach Dip, get the fans really roaring by pairing it with our Sauvignon Blanc. Though crisp up front, the mid-palate offers a medium-bodied texture with a beautiful finish that will mellow the bite of garlic in this recipe.

Don’t fumble the meatier appetizers, keep it simple. If it’s smokey and spicy like these Pulled Pork Sliders, you will want to reach for our 2015 Zinfandel. The jam and spice of this wine pair exceptionally well with the savory tanginess of the sliders.

Are chicken wings more your thing? Traditional, spicy sauces like those found on Buffalo wings can definitely sack most wines, which is why we suggest calling a tasty audible. These Chile-Garlic Chicken Wings paired alongside our Chardonnay will be a crowd pleaser worthy of a touchdown dance!

Has your traditional pepperoni pizza fallen out of the starting lineup? Change the game plan by enjoying it with a glass of our 2014 Merlot. The amazing core of ripe, jammy berry framed by toasty oak will pair perfectly with the bold, mesquite flavor of the pepperoni. The soft, zingy notes of the pizza sauce will bring this pairing full circle, and will guarantee it to be a win for your tastebuds!
