It’s that magical time of year again. The time where sweater weather becomes the norm, where the air becomes a little more crisp, and where the leaves begin to shift to calming new shades of red and orange. But the leaves aren’t the only thing that change their color in the fall. As summer slips away, we shift more into Pinots and Cabernets and fruitier red wines. So as we move into (arguably) everyone’s favorite season, here are the top 4 wines for Fall.

  1. Pinot Noir:
    • With a combination of both strawberry, cranberry, and sweet oak, our Pinot Noir is the perfect wine for crossing over from summer to fall. So pour yourself a glass (or two), curl up in a blanket, and treat yourself to a relaxing night at home. Currently some of our favorite fall movies streaming on Netflix are Sleepy Hollow, Rushmore, You’ve Got Mail, and Shakespeare in Love.
  2. Cabernet Sauvignon:
    • We are approaching the time of year where the the most delicious food is served. So whether you’re planning an autumn dinner party, or looking for a night out where someone else does the cooking, Cabernet is a fantastic fit for fall foods. From traditional turkey to cozy lasagna, the herby tannic flavors of a cabernet will pair nicely with your autumn munchies.
  3. Merlot:
    • As those comfort foods make their way to our tables, the aromatic berry flavors found in our Merlot is are the perfect match. From pumpkin to slow-cooked stews to homemade pot pies, the plush red raspberry and cherry flavors are a prime companion for the warm calming foods autumn has to offer.
  4. Champagne:
    • While they say never to wear white after Labor Day, champagne is really an every season beverage. Whether you’re making summer mimosas or toasting by the fire with some friends, champagne is versatile, delicious, and perfect for almost every season and occasion out there.
