Five Seasonal Flavors of Whitehall Lane Wine

Autumn is probably one of our favorite times of the year. Chilly mornings greet us while we’re wrapped up in soft, thick sweaters, and the warmth of smoky fireplaces at night cheers our souls, reviving feelings of nostalgia. It’s the time of the year when we crave flavors of the fall harvest, and find comfort in the fact we can pull these very flavors from our own wine racks.

Dark, jammy fruits, like black cherry, plum and cranberry create deep flavor, complimenting the earthy tastes of seasonal classics, like turkey. The complex aromas and flavors found in a glass of Las Brisas Vineyard Pinot Noir boast of cranberry, strawberry and lavender aged in toasted oak and are a perfect fall flavor-filled pairing.

Our Leonardini Vineyard Merlot pays homage to ripened falls plums and black cherries, coating the mouth in decadency with every sip. Notes of dark fruit and toasty oak can also be found in the 2012 Leonardini Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, with polished tannins giving it a silky finish.

You can find oaky, tart apple, reminiscent of pies and fruit filled pastries in our Carneros Chardonnay. It’s also a perfect evening pick-me-up to pair with hearty butternut squash and pumpkin dishes, like ravioli.

Whether you’re craving sweet dark notes of black cherry, plum, or cranberry, or something more like toasty oak and tart apple, you can enjoy a full range of autumn flavors in every glass of Whitehall Lane wine.
